What you feed your fish and how you feed your fish is one of the single most important factors in keeping a successful aquarium. Feeding the proper amount and appropriate type of foods will ensure that the aquarium will stay clean and our water will remain as healthy for our fish as possible.
What type of food should I feed?
You will have been provided the proper food to begin feeding your fish. If you have a saltwater or reef aquarium the food will be of a frozen variety. Frozen foods contain the highest levels of vitamins and nutrients our fish need with a minimum amount of unnecessary things like phosphates and nitrates that will contribute to poor water quality. Frozen foods are the closest thing to what these fish will eat in their natural habitat.
